PERFORMANCE BAND
YEAR ROUND
Concert Band, Jazz Band and Percussion Ensemble are active all year. Modern Band is only offered during the fall semester.

Band is open to everyone regardless of experience level. It is highly recommended to enroll in school band course

THEATER
AUDITIONS: FALL (SEPT) & SPRING (DEC)
Step into the spotlight or work behind the scenes! The TNHS Theater program offers students hands-on experience in acting, technical theater, and production while bringing stories to life on stage.
Fall production takes place in mid October and Spring production takes place in late April.
GREEN DOT & TCOY
All SCHOOL YEAR
Green Dot and Take Care of Yourself (TCOY) are student leadership groups that promote mental health, self-care, kindness and a positive school culture. Members are selected for their positive attitude, leadership, dependability and commitment to supporting others and creating a positive school culture.
TCOY'S leadership team is invitational only. While leadership-team membership is limited, TCOY activities and events are open to all students.
FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES

FCA is a student-led community where faith and sports collide. We meet to hang out, play quick games, eat great food, and share encouraging, faith-based messages to tackle the pressures of school, sports and life.

NELSON COUNTY ARTS COLLECTIVE
AUDITIONS: Sept. 15 & 17 / Feb. 16 & 18
The Nelson County Arts Collective is a community of learners who wish to prioritize arts education during middle and high school years in order to prepare for higher education, professions in the arts, and a life-long appreciation of the arts. The collective functions both within and without the regular school day, as well as online, across the district, and is free of charge to students, except for special trips and events.
Students must maintain strong academic performance, stay actively involved in arts coursework and events, and give back through service that supports the arts community.
